THERE’S a smoothened buying path for a six-bed West Cork home near Dunmanway, on four acres of gardens — it has been bought and sold several times in the last few years and so should sail through surveys and legal searches.

That’s according to Henry O’Leary Property Partners, who have transacted some of the recent sales for various vendors who, coincidentally, have all moved not only out of West Cork, but overseas.

“It is nothing at all to do with the house, just down to circumstances usually associated with jobs,” Mr O’Leary notes. Some owners got job offers they couldn’t refuse in the UK, while others who came to West Cork had jobs disappear on them, others retired to the sun in Spain.
