HOUSES starting at €146,000 are well within the affordable threshold by today’s standards and that’s just the pitch that joint agents, Michael Creedon and Niall Cahalane of Cahalane Skuse are giving for Quarry Vale in Drimoleague, Co Cork.

Close to Skibbereen and Dunmanway, the new development is in the heart of Drimoleague, but will have a large catchment area, say the agents.

The scheme includes 23 three-bedroomed house of 1,075 square feet and some qualify under the County Council’s affordable housing scheme, says Mr Creedon.
