One property, three different design units

THE COACH House in Carrigtohill is an anomaly in property terms — a combination of three separate dwellings, it’s not quite a reconstruction project, nor is it a completely finished product. Instead, its a quirky, remodelled collection of buildings with a range of different design traits.

Priced at €625,000, through Finbarr Roche of Property Choice, this property would appeal to as it needs some work, but doesn’t come within the affordable level of starry-eyed doer-uppers.

Basically, it comprises of three separate units built round a U-shaped courtyard. Set off a minor country road, it’s south-facing to the front and while surrounded by one-off houses, it has a good deal of privacy. Two of the houses were used for holiday lets and that could be a continued option as could a retreat or holistic centre.

Just five minutes’ drive from the Midleton Parkway, it is a short commute to the city.
