SOME houses on Cork’s Rochestown Road flaunt their wares and whereabouts, but Robin Hill hides its presence under a bushel and behind the bushes.

On a site of less than a quarter-acre this 25-year old Tudor-style six-bed home is sequestered behind homes fronting onto the affluent stretch of road on the edge of Douglas village.

Further along, opposite Kiltegan two modern detached houses are ‘sale agreed’ at around €1.2 million apiece.

So, well-set Robin Hill sails into a hungry market and should be nudging itself up towards the €1 million mark - it will all come down to the level of competition among bidders. The house itself has a good 26’ by 15’ lounge/dining room with fireplace, family room also with fireplace and patio doors, kitchen/breakfast room with pine units and patio access, utility and guest WC, while upstairs there are six bedrooms, the main one has a decent-sized five-piece en suite bathroom, plus main bathroom.

Heating is by oil, and windows are hardwood single glazing.
