Robin Hill property real treasure

SOME houses on Cork’s Rochestown Road flaunt their wares and whereabouts, but Robin Hill hides its presence under a bushel and behind the bushes.

On a site of less than a quarter-acre this 25-year old Tudor-style six-bed home is sequestered behind homes fronting onto the affluent stretch of road on the edge of Douglas village.

Right behind Robin Hill is the modern mansion Gortalough, a 10,000 sq ft house which sold two years ago for €4 million, and still holds the record as Cork city’s highest earner in sales terms.
