Tipperary not too far to go for a pub sale

WITH some massive pub sales coming up on the Dublin front, you’d think John P Younge Auctioneers would find Tipperary a long, long way to go for a new offering - but they also have a neat Tipperary pub and site sale coming up there as well.

Tipperary not too far to go for a pub sale

The firm have the sale of the Submarine in Crumlin, Dublin, by auction on September 24. That bar has a price expectation in the order of €12 million, and the following day they are to auction O’Brien’s in Leeson Street with a €3.5 million guide.

The current auction price record (as opposed to private treaty) for an Irish pub was set earlier this year when the Kestral took flight at €7.3 million. So, if the Submarine goes under the hammer, expect it to make serious sales waves.
