A home that could be just what a doctor orders

DOCTORS (and dentists) have been active in the Cork property market since summer, snapping up more than a handful of €1 million-plus properties as residences, and the same professions also have a sure touch on the investment property front.

A home that could be just what a doctor orders

Which is a roundabout way of saying that the selling agents of Mologga, on St Clare’s Avenue off College Road in Cork, can expect more than a handful of doctors in the house before it sells.

The three-bed semi is spades-in, in terms of location, just around the corner from the Bon Secours private hospital, and with UCC themselves building a new medical and nursing faculty a hundred yards away on the grounds of the old Brookfield House.

On the market with Ann O’Mahony of Sherry FitzGerald in Cork, this house has a price guide of €370,000, with bay windows in on ground floor reception room and in the overhead bedroom.

While it might have an appeal for investors, she says it will make a great family house close to all services, schools, UCC, etc.

The house is bright, with a west-facing back garden, it has a kitchen extension to the rear, a detached garage, gas heating, and just needs a bit of a modernising makeover.

It has three bedrooms, two reception rooms each with bay windows, one to the front of the house, the other behind overlooking a patio,

kitchen and guest loo, with first floor shower room.
