Rounded Georgian look to new harbour development
Designed by Niall Murphy of Macroom-based, J & N Murphy and Co, the look is neo-Georgian and Sherry FitzGerald says the finish will be very high. He and Trish Stokes of the firm’s new homes wing are marketing this scheme, with prices starting at €325,000 and rising to €370,000.
The 14 units available run to two , three-bed semis, three three-storey townhouses and nine two and three-bedroomed apartments.
Perhaps the most eye-catching feature of this scheme is the rotunda which full-stops the townhouse row and includes an interesting range of apartments.
These three-bedroom units have “roundy” walls. One half of the circle comprises a sitting room and kitchen area, with a wall full of windows, and the second half has two bedrooms.
Then, there’s a leg bit with an en suite, main bathroom and third bedroom and access is via a lift with private lobby.
There are nine of these units for sale, including two three-bedroom apartments, and sizes range from 800 to 1,120 sq ft. Prices are yet to be decided.
The three bedroomed semis form one block of two units and cost €325,000 and €330,000 apiece.
A flight of steps and fan-lit doorways are part of the package.
The four-bed townhouses run over three storeys with kitchen and living room on the first floor and a study, utility and fourth bedroom at the entrance level.
Three further bedrooms, with one en suite, are on the second floor and the houses average 1,717 sq ft with the centre townhouse running to 1,846 square feet. Prices start at €370,000.
Sirius Heights includes a soft-landscaped site and parking.
