Low maintenance home with lots of extras
Stephen Shine of Countrywide Homes is handling the sale of ‘Anam Chara’, and describes it as a 2,500 square foot property with just over a half acre of ground in a location that’s half mile off the main Cork/Limerick road.
House proud owners and a wealth of extras make this house a cut above the rest, he says, and the design is also a bit different with an unusual roof light detail in the galleried hallway. The master bedrooms is more of a suite, says Mr Shine, and while it measures square at 22’ by 21’, is not that straightforward, and combines a sitting room, with bedroom, walk-in-wardrobe and bathroom.
Siberian larch and solid chestnut are laid in the lounge and living room, while the 26’ by 30’ kitchen has ceramic flooring and a bay window, as well as double doors to the rear garden. Also included is a utility and ground floor bathroom.
The property has four bedrooms, running over both floors, and two main bathrooms, and the upper landing has access to a spacious attic. Outside, there’s a cedar deck, beech hedging, cast iron pole lighting and a large garage with sliding door.
Everything, basically, is done here, and to a high standard, says Mr Shine. A big, stone-fronted dormer, the house is entirely low-maintenance, he adds, and is being sold because it’s now too big for its careful owners. So, if you’re a family looking for space and no work, it might be worth the once-over.
