Big interest in property

WITH over 180 viewings in the last week alone it looks like number 2, Trees Avenue, Mount Merrion, will find a new family to take care of it after the auction on September 25.

This post-war property, (it was built in 1949) was well taken care of over the years and it comes with a beautiful rear garden that’s surrounded by tall trees.

“It feels like you’re in the country when you’re out there, says Gillian Ryan of Jackson Stops, who is in charge of the sale.

The property is detached and will need some upgrading, and, as this is an executors sale, the house is guaranteed to sell: it has a low guide price of €450,000.

While number two has just three bedrooms, they are quite large in size and the length of the back garden would allow further development, which is why the guide price is pitched fairly low.

According to Ms Ryan, the property will need some work.
