Apartments galore in old city suburb whiskey store
David Crowe of Oyster Developments, whose most recent scheme is the ultra modern Courtyard in Killarney, is the developer.
He and wife Sheila, who takes care of the interiors, were also responsible for the Sheen Lodge development in Kenmare, which was designed down to the teaspoons.
Now, after selling 19 of the 20 apartments at the newly minted, Stoneview in Montenotte, the company have the most striking apartment left to sell.
Brian Olden of Lisney is the agent here and he’s offering 1,456 square feet of space in this duplex unit for €350,000. And that includes everything, down to towels and teaspoons - even two tellys.
The great selling point is the big, bow window at first floor level. Now housing the master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe and full bathroom, it has two full length windows on either side, which means it gets the sun all day long.
It’s the ideal spot for a living room and could easily be used as such, especially when you consider the two balconies outside.
This room takes up the top floor, but downstairs there’s a wealth of space. A wide hallway has a traditional spindled staircase to the back and the remaining rooms are range around to the front.
Here there are two double bedrooms, one extra large en suite room and a twin room with adjoining main bathroom, also on the generous side. The kitchen/living room is fitted in buttery units and has a line of windows facing south towards the river. It’s furnished with couch, table chairs and television and with beds dressed and wardrobes fitted.
