More than meets the eye

THE owners of the Cotswolds, at Carrigrohane between Ballincollig and Cork city, went the extra few square yards when it came to providing accommodation. In fact, it seems like they didn’t know when to stop.

From most corners, the brick finished house just looks like a large dormer, but on closer scrutiny it has seven bedrooms, and apart from the accompanying living rooms it has an attached suite of offices, with three ground floor offices and a further first floor dormer roofed office measuring 25’ by 18.’

The Cotswolds is five miles west of Cork city centre at Carrigrohane, at the western end of the Straight Road by the turn for Inniscarra and Blarney, and also has second route back to the city via the Model Farm Road.
