Former mill manager’s cottage benefits from tender loving care

TENDER loving care has been latterly lavished on 7 Grange Terrace, which is a few hundred yards above the west village in Douglas, Cork.

The 19th century terraced cottage is part of a row of homes originally built for people working in the nearby woollen mills, and the extra space granted to no 7 indicates that it was home to one of the mill managers.

It was bought three years ago by a woman from the UK, and is back for sale as she is returning to her grown-up family in London.
