Down-sizing in Kenmare costs a courtly €450,000

IT'S a sure sign we have reclaimed our history when a new development in Kenmare, Co Kerry, can be called Cromwell's Court.

By way of explanation, it is beside Cromwell's Bridge in a town centre location, but that doesn't go all the way to explain the €450,000 price tag for these three-bedroom townhouses.

The scheme, by local firm, Gallivan Developments, is top end, according to John Sullivan of Property Partners, McCarthy and Morgan, who will be on hand from today to show viewers around the show house, with its stylish interior and circa 1,300 square feet of space.
