Hogan stud has strong links with point to point success

THE name of P P Hogan rings immediate bells within the tightly-knit bloodstock community and without.

Famous for his acute eye, he won scores of point to point races with jockeys of the calibre of Niall Madden and Enda Bolger, (who became his son-in-law).

Mr Hogan was a regular at yearling sales and represented, in his time, the historic Coolmore triumvirate of Magnier, Sangster and O’Brien.
