THE SALE of large, three-bedroomed semis is still a driving area of the market, according to Jeremy Murphy of Property Choice.

He has two, similar houses in the Douglas and Montenotte area on his books at the moment.

The first is at 120 West Avenue, Parkgate in Frankfield and here prices have risen by at least 20,000 from Christmas of last year.

He is now asking €260,000 for this property and has an offer of the same amount. A bit bigger than the average, the house has a lounge, living room and a kitchen/dining room as well as a guest bathroom and ensuite master bedroom.

Over on the other side of the city, an exact replica is located at 32, Springfort Crescent in Montenotte.

Priced at €265,000, the house has an extra-large, corner site and is just a walk from the city centre.

The layout of this house is slightly different with a main living room, a lounge/dining room fitted kitchen and utility. three bedrooms, a bathroom and a guest WC.
