Home to a menagerie of animals that includes horses, peacocks and peahens, cats and dogs, it is a bit of a strange beast itself, squarely Victorian in its outside appearance, but with an interior that feels even older.

There's a Tudor-ish touch thanks in part to its exposed stone walls and dark coloured ceilings in the kitchen and morning room.
