FROM the fanfare of the initial opening, the Admiral’s Walk scheme, at Kinsale, Co Cork is showing healthy sales since its October opening, say joint agents Lisney and Sheehy Bros.

Just 12 top-end townhouses were on offer on the Cork side of the harbour town and five units have been sold so far, with a choice of three houses types still available for purchasers looking to invest in Cork’s Cote D’Azur.

Designed by local architect, Richard Rainey, these three-story town houses front onto a central parking area, with green space, and each units has its own private garden to the rear. There are three design available with just one of the larger, Anchor type remaining at €398,500.

Types B and B1 offer three bedrooms with a similar layout to the four-bedroomed Anchor. Prices start at €318,000 for B1, rising to €348,000 for type B. Sizes range from the 1,475 sq ft in house B1 to 1,620 sq ft for type B and 2070 sq ft for type A.

The developers of Admiral’s Walk are Garryruth Properties, whose previous schemes included the Tivoli Woods development in Cork’s Silversprings. The scheme is under construction on the site of the former Houlihan’s bakery premises on the eastern road to Cork city.
