THE company that last week paid €24 million for historic Dunkathel House and development lands in Glanmire Cork, O’Flynn Construction, also scored a direct hit with the launch of another house project, Brightwater, in Cork harbour in the past week.

The first phase of its long-planned development in the former grounds of Crosshaven House sold out within a couple of days, with predominantly local buyers flocking to snap up new homes in the scenic harbour village, known around the world for its sailing links, and close to beaches as well as being just 14 miles from Cork city.

O’Flynn Construction is now busy on site behind Crosshaven House, building 125 new houses, with 10 different house types on offer.
