Stunning harbour views from The Orchard
The development, with two- and three-bed units to sell, is being built by Murnane and O’Shea for Fingerpost Builders and architects the Hyde Partnership.
The same team has just sold 14 one- and two-bed apartments and two-bed duplexes by the Garda station in Maryborough Green, Douglas at prices ranging from €179,000 for one-beds to €216,000.
“They were all sold in a week to a mix of private buyers and investors, and all the buyers were local,” said Barry Nagle of Global.
In Monkstown, he and Sarah Hyde are selling the two remaining two-bed 720 sq ft houses at The Orchard, Fairyhill (by the Catholic Church) at prices from €203,000, while four remaining three-bed and two-storey houses of 1,065 sq ft are selling at €273,000.
The houses each have one en suite bedroom, oil heating, patio doors and parking.
Meanwhile, nearby in Glenbrook (between Monkstown and Passage West), Murnane and O’Shea are adding six more apartments in a last in-fill section of the popular Granary Wharf development, also designed by the Hyde Partnership.
A portion of the site by the water’s edge came up for sale when a former Eircom exchange building was sold off. One-bed apartments are €126,000 and two-bed units are €168,000 with Global Properties.
