Unholy headlines

IN THE Irish Examiner Weekend of March 27, your cartoonist Drinan used the caption ‘Ecce Homo,’ while Leagues O’Toole’s feature on Christy Moore was headlined ‘Corpus Christy’.

These terms are intimately associated with Christianity and I find their use to head up a secular cartoon and column deeply offensive.

I would like to think that I can find more respect for my faith in the Irish Examiner.
