Your chance to put an end to a barbaric trade

READERS may be shocked to learn that the trade in the fur from domestic dogs and cats is perfectly legal in Ireland and most of Europe.

A written declaration is currently before the European Parliament calling for an end to this hideously cruel and morally repugnant trade.

We urge readers to write to their MEP asking him or her to sign this important declaration as soon as possible as two million dogs and cats, many skinned alive, die for this barbaric trade each year.
