Driving tourists away

IN many countries senior citizens are considered a prime tourism market. They have time on their hands and have saved towards their retirement and holidays.

We recently had an infuriated guest. He had flown his own plane from Jersey to Bristol, picked up friends and flown on to Cork. Yet despite having a pilot’s licence, he was refused a hired car at the airport as he was considered too old to drive!
