Attack on airports plan was grossly unfair
What nonsense. It is the same as saying that if Superquinn was a subsidiary of Dunnes Stores, it would have been allowed to expand to what it is today.
I believe the senator was indulging in a grossly unfair evaluation of Transport Minister Seamus Brennan’s admirable work to afford Shannon and Cork airports the chance to achieve their enormous potential.
Why is it that if you are on the west or south coasts, you must produce a watertight business plan and subject it to public scrutiny a year or more in advance.
Not so on the east coast, especially if you happen to be in Kildare.
