Remembering Leinster

ON the weekend of Friday October 10 to Sunday October 12, for the first time ever, the towns of Dun Laoghaire and Holyhead will jointly commemorate the loss of the mail boat Leinster.

Remembering Leinster

The sinking of the Leinster by a submarine in 1918 resulted in the greatest ever loss of life in the Irish Sea.

The organisers of the event would like to hear from the relatives of those who were lost or who survived the sinking.
