Horner may make bid for Jordan

Another bidder could be lining up for Eddie Jordan’s struggling Formula One team.

Reports yesterday said that Chris Horner, who owns the Formula 3000 team Arden may step in to buy Jordan if talks with Dubai’s ruling Maktoum family collapse.

Jordan has struggled on and off the track this year and was dealt a further blow last Friday when Jaguar, the owner of Ford, said it was pulling out of the sport, leaving Mr Jordan looking for another engine supplier.
