IN relation to civil service decentralisation, I wish to inform your readers and interested parties that I have sent a document to Government several times since October 2001 outlining the reasons why a State department should be located to Charlestown, Co Mayo.

I would ask people, especially civil servants, to log onto to the website charlestownbmw.com and send their views to me.

Also the website westontrack outlines the benefits of opening the railway line from Sligo to Limerick, connecting Cork and Waterford.

It should beat Luas as value for money any day.
