IT is tragic that Captain James Kelly failed to have his good name cleared

the Government before his death. Lessons must be learned here, and this kind of thing must not be allowed to happen again.

Capt Kelly was from my home town, Bailieboro, of which he was very proud.

He was also a notable journalist, author and historian, and contributed much to life in our town and county. Obviously he was most famously a member of the Irish army and he served his country well over many years. He deserved better.
