High-rise blocks cast a shadow over residents

THE number of new high-rise buildings in the Bishopstown and surrounding areas of Cork city has been further highlighted by the recent granting of planning permission for yet another such development at the Dennehy’s Cross junction.

These benefit property developers and are not based on the needs of the community at large.

It is evident there has been no strategic thinking on the location of these buildings.
