Treat TG4 equally

I ENDORSE Liam Mac Mathúna’s comments (Irish Examiner, October 3) about the excellence of many TG4 programmes and the neglect of the station by so much of the media.

Regrettably, the Irish Examiner does not seem totally immune from this attitude. When are the weekend TV pages going to carry proper listings for TG4 rather than just the bare bones?

When it comes to the soaps, many media commentators seem to suffer from a colonial cringe. They go on and on about Emmerdale, EastEnders and Coronation Street while ignoring not only Ros na Rún but often Fair City as well and that's a programme with an high viewership.
