FF propaganda stunt is something to be avoided

I WILL not be attending Fianna Fáil’s propaganda stunt in Dublin’s O’Connell Street today for the 90th anniversary of the 1916 Rising.

Instead I will have removed myself from my native city to Galway where I hope to enjoy a nice holiday.

This does pain me greatly, as my great-grandfather fought in Boland's Mills as part of James Connolly’s Irish Citizen Army, under the command of Eamon de Valera.
