the sanctimonious claptrap of those who have been scalding the Allen family, all in the cause of love and concern.

I will not let them talk down to me about love of children, nor will I submit to the usual assurances about abhorrence, etc. The people who matter to me do not need them.

The Pharisees among us are howling in anguish about the fate of children far away yet they never express any concern about the fate of the multitude of suffering children on the files of our own health boards.
