I WOULD like to know what others think of the plan by Communications Minister Noel Dempsey to force An Post to bring in postcodes by January 2008?

I am delighted that the Irish Postmasters Union has come out against this idiotic proposal and I hope the other unions in An Post also reject it.

The proposal will cost the company an estimated €6 million to introduce, but where is the public demand for it?
