Can Ros na Rún accommodate all the stars who will now seek to guarantee an Emmy by using their cúpla focail on the show?

It wasn’t the first cameo in Ros na Rún by any stretch of the imagination. The likes of Daniel O’Donnell and Stephen Fry have popped up on the TG4 Irish-language soap, and it also figured in a joint commercial with CBS police drama Cold Case in 2005, one which featured actors from the latter show speaking Irish.

However, when US chat show star Conan O’Brien popped up in Ros na Rún earlier this year, few could have predicted the end result.
