Safety in the workplace: Putting lives in jeopardy

The Health and Safety Authority’s (HSA) two-week campaign focusing on work vehicles that began yesterday is very welcome, even if it would have had more impact had it been unannounced. Forewarned is, after all, forearmed.

Inspectors are targeting transport and logistics companies, manufacturing premises, waste and recycling facilities, distribution centres, and warehousing centres in an effort to reduce work-related deaths.
