Main parties wilting under Labour

It would have been remarkable had the Government and Taoiseach Bertie Ahern’s support not nose-dived in the last 12 months because of the widespread dissatisfaction with the extent to which they failed to deliver on election promises.

The Irish Times/TNS MRBI poll graphically illustrated that the electorate is utterly disillusioned with the current administration, and they could hardly have expected it to be otherwise.

They are not the only ones who have to undertake a major review of their public perception, though.
