Boys’ murders - Deadly failure to tackle juvenile crime
The only saving aspect of this appalling scenario is that justice has been done and two teenage thugs have been found guilty.
Tragically, 14-year-old Daragh Conroy from Co Laois was bludgeoned to death with a hammer by a 16-year-old for his phone. His remorseless killer, Darren Goodwin, was yesterday sentenced to detention for life.
