A report on what is needed

Given the totally inadequate facilities in place to treat cancer patients at the moment, it is vital that this report be published immediately, and more importantly, that the positive recommendations it may contain be implemented.

Currently, about 22,000 cases of cancer occur every year. Of that number, 11,000 people need radiotherapy treatment nation-wide, but only in the region of 6,000 of them can be treated.
