Priest gets message across

With road deaths being accountable for an unacceptable level of fatalities in this country, especially at this time of year, it is refreshing to hear of a priest doing something more than just preaching about it.

The message from Fr Robert McCabe of the Meath diocese, is practical and succinct: "Love God; Love Your Neighbour don't meet both of them by accident."

He is relying on posters rather than the pulpit to help make this Christmas a safer one on the country's roads. He has initiated the campaign in parishes throughout the country.
