Consumer campaign - Rights information card welcome

The Eddie Hobbs Rip-Off Republic series last summer was a massive success, not because it told people something that they did not know, but because it confirmed what most Irish consumers already felt.

That is that they were being ripped off in a whole range of areas.

This brought home the need for greater awareness on the part of the consumer.
