Random breath tests positive move

It is a remarkable, if very regrettable, fact of life that the level of drink-driving in this country has hardly changed over the course of the last 20 years.

Despite a plethora of television and advertising campaigns, coupled with the fact that the legal limit for drinking and driving has been reduced three times, and it is now socially unacceptable to do so, too many irresponsible drivers still take a chance.

There are motorists who believe they are above the law, and show contempt for the safety and lives of others by driving after the consumption of more than the legally permissible intake of alcohol.
