Expand drink-driving crackdown

EVERY year, without fail, we hear the same depressing statistics and this year is no different.

By Christmas, an estimated 45 people will die and more than 200 people will be seriously injured on our roads, according to the National Safety Council.

Their alarming prediction is that alcohol will account for 16 of those deaths and 80 injuries.
