Revenue plan - Taxman targets cagey Dubs
Geographically, it has been easier, relatively speaking, for somebody living in Dublin to evade the scrutiny of the taxman, than it is for somebody living in Waterford or Monaghan, for instance.
This quirk was uncovered by an Irish Examiner analysis of all 2,122 tax defaulters named and shamed by the Revenue Commissioners from October 2001 to the end of June this year.
