IT is absolutely outrageous that the IRA has yet to commit to ending criminal activity.

Incredibly, despite the holier-than-thou posturing over the decommissioning row, the organisation has not yet signed up to a government statement that all criminal activities must stop.

The Progressive Democrats are right to insist this major issue be fully resolved before the party accepts the overall agreement aimed at restoring power-sharing government in the North.
