THE bleak prospect of Ireland’s main airports at Dublin, Cork and Shannon grinding to a halt is the last thing the country’s ailing tourist industry needs.

Unions must be positive about plan

It would be counter-productive in the extreme if flights were disrupted on Monday by a mass meeting of workers angry over the decision to break up the company and make the three airports autonomous.

Hopefully, the unions will heed the Taoiseach's call on the workforce to do nothing that would damage the airports and the country.
