Peace process – DUP must keep talking

Today Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will meet British Prime Minister Tony Blair to review problems surrounding the peace process in the North.

This meeting will follow another between Minister for Foreign Affairs Brian Cowen and leading members of the Democratic Unionist Party at Stormont, which was a positive and hopeful development in light of the latest impasse.

According to sources on both sides, the discussions were both frank and wide-ranging.
