Health crisis - Key lessons have yet to be learned
Another pregnant woman was not treated at Monaghan Hospital on Thursday and she, too, gave birth in an ambulance on the way to Cavan. Fortunately, in this case both mother and child are doing well.
The response in the Livingstone case, which occurred last December, was that four reports were commissioned into the little baby’s death. The family is still waiting for them, despite assurances from Minister for Health Mícheál Martin that they would be expedited.
