Irish Examiner poll - No room for complacency on any side

The findings contained in the results of today’s section of the Irish Examiner poll amounts to a virtual political manifesto of what the electorate seriously considers to be the most important national issues.

The cost of living and the quality of life, which encompassed health care as well as law and order issues, are what people are primarily worried about, the poll conclusively shows.

It is hardly surprising that the cost of living issue dominated, nor that it was closely associated with government dissatisfaction.
