Crèche complaints - Reports should be made public

THE vast majority of reports by health inspectors have found fault with crèches that they have visited.

Today’s investigation in the Irish Examiner is of complaints made by parents. Getting access to such reports was very difficult, even under the Freedom of Information (FoI) Act.

That information should be made public in the interests of parents and children.
