An Post pay dispute - Pay hikes unfair and an abuse of power

The Communications Workers Union (CWU) at An Post are justified in criticising the generous payments that top management accorded themselves, while the promised increases under Sustaining Progress were not paid to their workers since 2004.

Level-two managers at An Post are paid upward of €100,0000, and they can receive an annual bonus of 25% of their salaries. This is on top of generous perks, such as life insurance, health insurance, an annual car allowance and a company mobile phone.
