Iraq war - Positive spin cannot alter the facts

THE American Ambassador to Ireland has chosen to lecture the Irish media and politicians about the conduct of war in Iraq.

By putting a blatant spin on the situation there, Ambassador James Kenny would have us believe things are far more positive than press coverage portrays.

Admittedly, there must be positive aspects to the US’s role in Iraq and the ambassador has taken the trouble to list them in a circular.
